The hotel has a charming traditional style with a lovely courtyard and rooftop terrace that offers stunning sunset views. Breakfast options are adequate, with a mix of buffet items and cooked options available, though I found the earlier breakfast hours a bit limiting. Our room was clean, and the central location made it easy to explore Garachico. the bathroom arrangement left much to be desired. It lacked complete privacy, having only a screen separating it from the room. communication with staff could be improved, as there was a slight language barrier. I also found the pillows and bed on the firm side. Noise from other guests was noticeable due to thin walls, which affected the overall comfort. Despite these setbacks, I appreciated the unique historical charm of the hotel and the relaxing atmosphere.

Stunning ocean views from the terrace, Charming social space on the terrace, Unique architectural features of the building
The rooms could use proper soundproofing since thin walls mean you’ll hear your neighbors' conversations!!! The screen-divided bathrooms lack privacy, making shared stays awkward. a hot water shortage can ruin evening showers!!!

The architectural charm of the Gara Hotel really adds to the
experience. Situated in the historic center of Garachico, the hotel offers a lovely terrace ideal for sunset cocktails. The breakfast choices were decent but somewhat limited in variety.
